SENATE BILL NO. 1 "An Act requiring the state Board of Education                                                                
and Early Development to provide an annual report to the legislature"                                                           
was read the second time.                                                                                                       
                                                                                                                                
Senator Meyer, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                                                               
adoption of the Education Committee Substitute offered on page 336.                                                             
Without objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 1(EDC) was                                                                            
adopted.                                                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
President Stevens stated CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 1(EDC) will                                                                     
advance to third reading on the March 7 calendar.
